Pegah Hesari (b. 1986, Tehran) is a painter based in Malaga, Spain. After 15 years working in international business, she turned to art fulltime in 2021. Working primarily with acrylic on canvas, her practice explores the human figure as a space of inner experience, memory and emotional tension. Often using her own body as a starting point,Pegah examines themes of identity, distance, vulnerability and the relationship between the inner and outer self. Her work has been exhibited in Iran, Spain, Russia and the UAE.
